The third day we docked at Cozumel. We went to a day resort where we could go snorkeling, swim and eat. It was a much better place than the one in Honduras. The kids had a great time and it was their first time snorkeling. I think Ryan would have like to take a day and go Scuba Diving by himself, but he was awesome and stayed so he could take the kids snorkeling. Here are some pictures of us at the pool
Here are some more pictures of the kids at the pool when we were at sea. We pretty much spent most of the day swimming and playing in the water. The kids did go to the kiddie zone for a couple of hours to play the games and get their faces painted. They had a great time. We had a great time, because it wasn't as hard as we thought it would be. We were still a little nervous having everyone off the ship, but they were good about staying together. Ryan would like to take the family again. It was nice not having to worry about cleaning, cooking or doing laundry, but just enjoying the sun and the family.
Here is the last of the towel animals that we found in our room. We had two cabins that were joined together which made bedtime nice. The kids could go to sleep and whoever was watching them could still watch tv or read a book.
Here is Gracie and Rachel with their favorite cousin of the trip Mekena. They still ask when she is coming out this summer. We may just have to get her to come and visit.
Jaxen and Joshua loved playing with their cousin Geoff. He was so good and patient with them. Now we have a great time writing to him on his mission. He is such a good example for our boys.
Jaxen and Joshua and the girls loved it when the older cousins would take them to get ice cream. During the day, it was all you can eat and we let them. They usually had 3-4 before the day was over. After all, we are on vacation.
Gracie was a little tired of the sun and this was her way of getting in the shade. Funny girl.
