5under3 is our new site.

Just an FYI our sites address is now:

www.5under3.blogspot.com

If you have set our site as a favorite, you will have to do it again because the old address will not work. I changed it so that it included Rachel in the name.

The Men of the House

Here are my boys in their sunday best. I just thought they looked handsome in their sweater vests, so I wanted to show them off.

Here is Jaxen posing for the Camera. He loves to have his picture taken.

Here is Joshua in his sunday clothes. Isn't he handsome.

Three Peas in a Pod

Here are the three girls in their new dresses. They were all so cute in their matching pink and brown. Morgan loved being able to hold Rachel and Gracie just loved smiling for the camera.

Hey Look at Us

Here is another picture of the kids looking out the window. Daddy was mowing the lawn and they couldn't resist watching him and trying to get his attention.

What a movie!

Here is Joshua while watching Little Bear with Morgan. I just thought he was sooo cute laying on the floor with his hand on his chin. Don't you?

My Brown Eyed Girl

Here is Morgan in her new dress, that matches the other two girls. She loved the hat that is came with and wanted to show it off. Well, it only lasted for as long as the pictures were taken, but she was still cute on Sunday morning.

What's up Doc?

Well, we went to the Pediatrician today. They were not at all happy, because Gracie was just getting over Roseola and Joshua has an ear infection. What fun. Anyway,
Jaxen weighed in at 24lbs and 32 inches. Gracie came in at a close second at 24 lbs and 31 1/2 inches, and Joshua was third at 22 1/2 lbs and 31 inches. I can't believe how close they all are in size. It wasn't so long ago that Gracie was 2 whole pounds lighter, Joshua was chunky at 2 lobs heavier and Jaxen kept the middle ground. How fast they grow. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honk Honk

Gracie has this new game that she likes to play. She honks her nose and then laughs. It is quite funny. She also likes to honk your nose and then will laugh hysterically, which of course makes us laugh.

The First Attempt at Climbing Mt. Crib

Well, we thought Jaxen would be the first to try and climb out of his crib. But it was Joshua. We didn't get him up from his nap soon enough. Even with the mattress lowered almost all the way, he climbed out just enough to get over the side, then fell the rest of the way. It scared me to death to hear the thud when he hit the floor. When I went in he was screaming, but not crying and then smiled when we saw him. I checked for bumps and bruises but luckily there were none. Needless to say, I made Ryan lower the crib as low as it would go, so hopefully he can't climb out again. (I'm not ready for him to switch to a toddler bed.)

Snuggle Puppy, I love you!

Gracie and Dafunny have struck up a love-love relationship. They love to sit by each other. When Gracie gets a little rough with her Dafunny will let her know, then she will scoot into her and cuddle up again. It is the cutest thing.

Kiss Me I'm Cute!

Here is Rachel at exactly 2 months old, and as her shirt says "Kiss me I'm cute." She has been a very good baby. She loves her bouncy seat and will sit in it and sleep in it for hours. It has been so nice.

All About Rachel

Rachel had her two month check up today. She weighed in at 10 lbs 12 oz and is 22 inches long. Her head circumference was only in the 50th percentile though, so it is not quite as big as the others (Gracie's is always off the charts). She had to have three shots plus one oral vaccine, which she was not very happy about. She is now cooing, smiling and only wants to be held when her eyes are open. Luckily she sleeps 6-10 hrs per night so we are almost getting a full nights sleep. Unfortunately, when she doesn't wake up at night one of the other four does. Why I don't know, but I suspect that will happen for atleast 5-18 more years. Well we wish you all well. Enjoy the new postings.

Rachel's Blessing Day

Rachel's blessing was very nice. We had family and friends over for dinner on Saturday (Zach's family, Mariah's family, Andrew's family and the Smedleys), and then had her big day on Sunday. She was very cute and was a very good baby. The other kids enjoyed having their cousins and friends around to play with.

Sleepy Heads!

We had to wake the triplets up from a nap to head out on the town, and this is what we found. Aren't they cute?

Chucky Cheese

We went to Chucky Cheese this last weekend because some cousins were in town for Rachel's blessing. The kids had a blast riding the rides and walking around. Morgan loved putting tokens in the machines for other people or just cause and then walking away. We finally made her only put tokens in when she planned on hanging around for the ride.

Here is Joshua sitting the car. He loved to turn the steering wheel and rock back and forth.

Here is Gracie enjoying her ride.

Here is Jaxen in the same car. He didn't like to sit as long as the others.

Jaxen taking a ride with his cousin Jacob.

Jaxen goofing around.

Spaghetti Night

Well it was spaghetti night at our house. We decided to let the triplets feed themselves because they prefer it that way. What fun they had and look how messy they became. It took Ryan an hour to clean up. I don't think they will be eating it by themselves for awhile.

Jaxen the messy

Gracie wasn't shy either.

Joshua the chow downer.

Morgan also loves spaghetti night. She wanted to strip down like the triplets, but she wasn't quite as messy. At least she knows how to use a fork.

Climbing the Stairs

Congratulations Joshua! He climbed the stairs all on his own and he was so proud of himself. He works so hard to do what his brother and sister do that we are so happy for him when he finally does.

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween Everyone!!!
We had a great time and hope everyone else did too. We took the triplets and Morgan trick or treating, but halfway through it started to rain. So, mommy and the triplets went home, while daddy and Morgan stuck it out. They got lots of candy. A big thanks to the Gotschalls because they stayed behind to watch Rachel and hand out candy. What a fun night!!!

This is our house during dinner time. The triplets love to be in the kitchen with me because that is the only time they are allowed in. They also love to sit in their chairs, because that means food or snacks are on their way.
