Memorial Day and Evan's Baptism

Things are out of order, but we forgot our camera for this special weekend andRyan's sister sent us these pictures. We went to Mariah's house for Memorial Day weekend because her son Evan was getting baptized.

I was going through pictures and found more of dutch village. Enjoy.

Pony Farm Activity Day

First a great big "thank you" to Christy for remembering to bring her camera since I forgot. Second, at the end of school for Joshua's toddler group (and other groups) they held a pony farm extravaganza. However, they had planned a day of fun with water games and pony rides. It was tooo cold to get wet and they only had one pony with a 45 minute wait to ride him. Needless to say, whenever Christy and I take the kids somewhere we always ask each other "Was it worth it?" and the answer is usually yes. This time we both decided the answer was no. It just wasn't worth packing everyone in the van to go to an activity where it was cold and all we did was play on the jungle gym. On a nicer day, it probably would have been worth it.

Morgan complaining because she was starting to get too cold to want to do anything.

The triplets getting tired of sitting in their stroller and waiting to ride the pony. We finally gave up after a 30 minute wait.

Morgan posing for pictures with various props they had available.

The kids playing on the jungle gym and slides.

Jaxen pleading to leave. It was just too cold.

Running Through the Sprinklers

Saturday night, we let the kids run through the sprinklers. It didn't last long, because soon after the sky grew dark and we had a thunderstorm where hail was put down upon us. The kids were amazed at how fast the weather changed and enjoyed looking out the window with their daddy at the storm.

Akron Zoo

While in Ohio we visited the Akron Zoo. It was small and just the right size for our little ones' attention spans. They loved the tigers, bears, lions and otters. Gracie loved it so much every animal was pointed out as a "doggy".

Morgan was entertained by seeing herself on the big screen.

We were allowed to touch a lobster, starfish and other animals in this petting pond, but Morgan would not stick her hand in the water.

Nobody would smile for the camera when I first pulled it out. Look at all these sad faces.

Here are a few of the kids looking at the animals.
