Rachel is walking, well, sort of.

Rachel has started trying to walk around the house. She can take a few steps, then gets excited and usually falls down. She has walked 2-3 feet and loves to go between two people over and over. She also loves pushing her push toys around, because she can get to places faster and no longer gets stuck.

Also, here are some pictures Morgan took after video taping Rachel walking. She wanted to show off her photographic ability.

The Snow is Here!

The first snow fall arrived this last week. So for family home evening we all went outside and had fun making snow angels and riding in the sled. The snow was too dry to make a snowman but they had fun anyway. Here are some pictures of us playing in the snow.

Twilight Movie

Okay, this always happens. If you read the book first then the movie just doesn't seem as good. I get my hopes up for the movie and some how it just doesn't measure up. That being said, the movie started out cheesy, but towards the middle and the end it got a lot better and I started to enjoy it. All in all, there were a few good actors and a few horrible ones, but for a low budget film it wasn't too bad. In fact, my sister-in-law Lori and I are going with some young women from our church to see it again this afternoon.

12:01 Tonight

Yes, I am going to the midnight showing of Twilight. I just can't wait. I'll just be tired and cranky tomorrow. Watch out kids. Good thing we have nothing to do on Fridays.

To my Grandmas and Grandpas.

Morgan was looking at one of Ryan's National Geographics and on the back page they had a message that was spelled out by a girl doing the letters with her body. Morgan picked it up and said, "I can do that!" So, she started forming letters with her body. She then decided (with my encouragement) that she wanted to send a short message to her Grandmas and Grandpas. Hopefully you can tell what she wrote (answer at the bottom of the message):

Answer: LOVE. Morgan wants you to know how much we love you and miss all of you. She always remembers you in her prayers and she loves to ask where you are and when she will see you again. We love you Grandma and Grandpa MacPherson, and Grandma Jean Ann and Grandpa Chris.
On another note. Friday, Mary and Robert came over with their new baby boy. The kids got to meet Nolan Ryan Thompson for the second time and they couldn't get enough of him. They thought he was cute and tiny.

Doing Business

Well, I think this pictures speaks for itself. The triplets have been wanting to watch how the whole bathroom and toilet thing works. None of them actually want to sit on it, but they are interested none the less.

The kids love to try hats on, but don't wear them for long. Here is a few pictures of them at the table posing in hats.

There is a cute story here. Rachel knows the blue jacket is hers and this is the one she often wears. I couldn't find it one day, so I put a peach jacket on instead. When we came inside, she found the blue one and wanted me to put it on her. I did and put the Peach jacket in the dirty clothes hamper to be washed. Not 3 minutes later, she had the Peach jacket in hand and wanted it on as well. So, here she is sitting in her booster chair with both jackets on. She also took her nap wearing both jackets.

As I posted before, Gracie was Fi Fi the pink poodle for Halloween. Well, Gracie loves to dress up in her costume, and so she has been Fi Fi every day and night since. I can get it off long enough to change cloths, to take a bath and to get washed, but once those are done, it is back on. Here are different places that she has been caught wearing her costume.

Halloween Week

We had a busy week this last week with getting ready for Halloween and all the events that led up to it.

The kids all went trick or treating this year. Here they are in front of our house heading out for a night of collecting candy. They collected quite a stash and if they eat all their dinner, they will be having candy for dessert for quite some time (That is if Mommy and Daddy don't eat it all first).

Morgan was a Ballerina for her Halloween Party at school. She was quite proud of her outfit and her hair. She loved having it up in a bun.

We put Morgan's hair in a practice bun for her dance class. She felt just like a ballerina. Here she is with the kids showing off her new hairdo.

For family home evening we spent the night playing games and putting puzzles together. Here is the group working on a twenty piece puzzle. Don't be fooled this lasted for the time it took to get pictures and then they were fighting over the pieces and where they wanted to put their feet.

Rachel is starting to walk with her push toy. She is so proud, but everytime she starts to walk the kids take it away because it is their turn. This makes her a little upset.
