Rachel's room is upstairs and lately she has felt a little lonely being upstairs all by herself. So, we have been letting her sleep in Morgan and Gracie's room. Here is a couple of pictures Ryan took one night when they were having a sleep over.

A Photographer is Born
The kids have figured out how to use the camera on our cell phones. When we are not paying attention, they love to take pictures and it doen't matter what the subject matter is. They will take pictures of anything.

Emily's Birthday
For my birthday this year Ryan and I went out to dinner and then celebrated with the kiddo's over cake and ice cream. The kiddos all went with me to Cold Stone and picked out my birthday cake. We had to take a vote and go with the majority because it was hard to decide what kind to get. I wanted strawberry cheesecake, Josh wanted cupcakes, Jaxen and Gracie and Morgan wanted Cookie's and Cream, and Rachel wanted chocolate. So, we went with Cookies and Cream. Then we showed the kiddos my new bike. Now we both can take the kids on bike rides, which makes it a little easier to keep track of everyone.

Ohio Trip
Ohio Trip to Uncle Andrew's and Aunt Stefanie's House
In June, Ryan had to attend a meeting in Ohio and took the family along. While he was working, we enjoyed the pool and room at the hotel. We then made it a weekend and drove to Andrew and Stefanie's to visit the boys. The kids had a great time. We played, explored and saw a movie. They love to visit their cousins in Ohio, even if it is a long drive.

End of School Activities
Field Trip to Teusink's Farm
Josh had a Field Trip to an animal farm and Ryan was kind enough to tag along. Josh was in heaven to have his dad there with him.
Field Day
Morgan had Field day that second to last week of school. Ryan went to cheer her on. Unfortunately, the weather was rainy and wet, so they held it in doors. They did a great job of coming up with indoor acitivites for the kids to do. They had a great time and Morgan loved having her dad there to watch.
Botox Again.
Unfortunatly, May was also the time for Josh to have his Botox injections again. He was not happy to be going to get a shot, but he loves the trip to the store for a pop and treat afterwards.

Grandma and Grandpa Christiansen
In May, Grandma and Grandpa Christiansen came to Holland for a visit. We had a great time showing them around and they were even able to see Rachel, Gracie and Jaxen's graduation from Preschool. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa.
Dancing at Dutch Village
Playing with the baby ducks.
Josh going down the Wooden Shoe Slide at Dutch Village.
Playing in the horse and buggy
Waiting for the swing to start at Dutch Village.
Walking the Goats
We took them to see the light house at Holland State Park. Even Grandma JeanAnn walked out to the pier, which always makes me nervous when the kiddos walk to the very edge. I'm happy when we are safe back on the beach.
Rachel with Mrs. Assink at her preschool graduation. She loved going to class and being with her teachers.
Rachel performing at graduation.
Ryan took the boys and Grandpa Chris to see a cubs game while they were here. They all had a great time.
Jaxen and Gracie ready to go to their Preschool Graduation.
Gracie and Jaxen after receiving their certificates. Jaxen was a little nervous at graduation because of all the people. He had a hard time getting is certificate in front of everyone, but he did it anyway. Now look how happy he is.
Cookies and Punch after a great graduation performance.

Tulip Time 2011
Tulip Time 2011
This year we had a great time at the Tulip Time Festivities. We watched the dancers, ate carnival food, watched a parade and walked around the tulips. This kids love this time of year and so do we. I even tried a deep fried Snickers. It reminded me of a chocolate filled donut. I'll save my money for the funnel cakes, now those are very yummy.
Here the five are watching the tulip time dancers.
Downtown is a candy store. Here the five are picking out the candy in the window that they would like to buy.
Rachel posing by some flowers.
The five posing by one of the many statues that are situated around downtown Holland.
