Joshua Roller Skating in Therapy

Joshua has been going to physical therapy since he was 1 years old.  He acts like it is a lot of work and boring, but when we get there he is all smiles and does everything they ask.  Recently, they have been working on balance and control using roller skates.  He loves to come out and show all of us what he can do.

Bandaids

At our house, band aids are wonderful.  It doesn't matter if they are brown, colorful or if they have pictures all over them,  they can make any injury feel better.   It doesn't matter if it's a scratch, cut, or just hurt feelings, the kids love them.

Here is a picture of Gracie after she was bumped in the mouth.  She just would not rest until I had given her a couple band aids to put over her wound.

Roller Skating

Morgan's school had a Family Night of free roller skating.  We decided to take all the kiddos and see what they could do.  At first they were afraid of falling, so they wouldn't get out and try, but when it was their turn for the skate aids they all loved it and didn't want to leave.  Some of the pictures are a little blurry due to the movement and poor camera, but you can see how much fun they had.

Say Cheese!

All the kids love to pose for the Camera.  Here are some random shots of Morgan and Jaxen posing for Ryan after church.

Sledding in January

After one big snow storm in January,  Ryan decided to take the kids sledding for the morning.  We have a great sledding hill about 1 mile from our house.  They had a great time.  They were old enough to help drag the sleds back up the hill and Ryan didn't have to do it himself.

Morgan, Joshua, Gracie, Rachel, and Jaxen all waiting to start the hike up to the top of the hill.

You have to eat some of the snow or it wouldn't be playing in the snow.

All the kids heading back up for another run.

At the bottom relaxing in the snow.

In January and February,  Morgan played in door soccer.  She was so excited to go, then when we got there she wouldn't join the group.  Finally after much begging, pleading and sorry to say a little threatening she saw a friend from school in the group and ran to join in.  After that she was hooked.  She loved going and she loved the exercise.  Sadly, her mother waiting to long to sign her up for the regular soccer season, so we will try to remember when it's time for indoor soccer again.

Joshua's Lost Tooth

Joshua lost his second tooth on January 3rd.  Here is the happy boy showing off and hoping that the tooth fairy will come and visit.
