Sleeping, Football, Pumpkins and Dioramas

October 4, 2015:

The crazy way kids sleep.  Gracie and Rachel have twin beds, but they still like to share every once in a while.

October 11, 2015:

Saturday,  my mom gave us her two tickets to the BYU football game, so Ryan took the four youngest kiddos.  They had a great time and got to stay up passed their bedtime.  The girls were especially happy when they found out that they were the only ones with seats on the benches.

Morgan and I had a mommy-daughter date and went to see Transylvannia 2 then went to dinner.  We had a great time, too.

October 11, 2015:

The kiddos were excited to carve their pumpkins.  They didn't want any help and decided they were old enough to do it all on their own.  Ryan supervised a little bit, just to keep the mess under control, but they did a great job with their pumpkins.  We even roasted the seeds afterwards, and had a nice little treat.

The triplets each had diorama's due in class on Monday.  We spent the weekend working on them.  I'm so glad that they were able to complete most of it on their own.  They loved doing it, and since I am not creative nor crafty, I loved it that they were so independent.

Temple Square, Fishing, Goodbye to good friends

September 27, 2015:

Steve and Sherry Gotschall were able to come to Utah for Rachel's baptism and stayed the weekend.  We had so much fun spending time with them.  On Sunday, we all went to Temple Square to look around and enjoy the spirit that is always there.

If you can't tell, Ryan loves to take selfies.  Here is another one of our family with Steve and Sherry.

This was taken the night before we had to say goodbye.  The kiddos were up nice and early to let them know how much we will miss them and are so grateful that they could come to see us.

September 29, 2015:
On Monday,  Steve, Ryan and Zach went fishing for the day.  Here are some of the photos I could get to download from Ryan's phone.

October 3, 2015:

This weekend was General Conference.  We have really enjoyed hearing from the prophet and apostles of the church.  It is amazing how inspired they are, and how they always address the questions and concerns of today.  Rachel was able to attend the Women's session with Emily, Sherry, Morgan and Gracie for the first time last weekend (Sept. 26th).  Ryan was able to attend the priesthood session in the conference center.  Here are some photos.

Rachel's Baptism

September 26, 2015:

Rachel's baptism day finally came.  She was so excited.  She was able to share her day with her cousin Ryder, who was also very excited.  They had many friends and family come and share their special day, and there was such a sweet spirit.  We had a dinner afterwards and they even opened a few presents. Also, a few days before, Rachel had her special day with her Grandma and Grandpa MacPherson, which made this day even better (sorry no photos). Here are some pictures from the special even.

School Fair

Sept. 25, 2015:

The kiddos had their school fair at the end of September.  Gracie was even more excited to go, because last year her and Rachel were sick and couldn't go.  However, she had to make sure all of her homework was done before she could go. This meant 3 hours of homework all week (or the completion of 5 missing assignments everyday until Friday) to make sure she could go.  She got it done, and we were all able to go.  Here are some pictures taken that night.

Sept. 18, 2015:

This week has been full of school, after school activities, lessons and temple sessions, but short on pictures.   Here are a few random photos of Gracie that we took this week.

Gracie has been wanting to straighten her hair for weeks now, so for her school picture day, we straightened her hair.  She was so excited and loved it.  We couldn't believe how long her hair looked without her beautiful curls.

After dinner, we had an ice cream sandwich for dessert.  Gracie ate hers while watching Disney channel.  Dafunny was very interested in what she was eating, and since Gracie was more interested in TV than what she was eating, Dafunny helped herself to a lick or two.
