December 28th - January 3rd:
During the second week of Christmas Vacation, we went to NewPort Beach, CA. We had a great time. It was a lot colder than we thought it would be, but that didn't stop the kiddos. They loved going swimming, walking on the beach and all the other outdoor activities we had planned.
On Monday December 28th, we went to Lego Land. It was chilly and very crowded. Halfway through the day, it began to rain, so the lines became a lot shorter. This is about the time the kiddos started to enjoy themselves. They found the driving range and went on the ride over and over. They also had a great time visiting the mini-cities in the center of Lego Land. It was fun to visit, but I'm not sure it was worth it to go again.

Ryan was soooo excited to meet Rick Sutcliffe. He is a former baseball player for the Cubs. So, of course, we had to have a picture with the whole family.
The next few days, we hung out at the hotel and went to the beach. The kiddos had a great time playing in the kids zone, playing games, walking the beach and looking for treasure with Ryan's metal detector (unfortunately, they did not find any).

And not to be left out Gracie posing as well.

Rachel loved being in the nice 80 degree pool. She was our little dolphin and would not get out.
The girls were able to meet Eva Kolker from Girl Meets World on the Disney Channel. She was staying with her Grandparents in the same hotel and they had spent the afternoon playing in the kids zone together with her and her sister (mostly with her sister though).
After a fun filled four days in California, we drove back to St George to spend New Years with the Cousins. We celebrated with Lori and Dave and their family. All of the kiddo's made it to midnight and had fun running wild with their cousins. The parent's were exhausted, but enjoyed visiting, watching movies and eating treats as well.
