Church Halloween Party

Our church had it's Halloween party this weekend with trick or treating, dancing, desserts and games. The kids were so cute going from room to room asking for candy. None of them wanted help with their bags or to hold hands. Even Joshua walked around all by himself and held his bag up for everyone to dump a treat in. They also had fun eating the candy and desserts. All of them loved the cupcakes with whip cream frosting. Here they are in their costumes.

Rachel the Butterfly

Joshua the Horse (He was very upset that he had to take off the costume at bedtime. He would have slept in it and worn it all day if he could. He loved it because it makes a horsy sound when you push down on the nose. If asked, he would push the nose himself and giggle.)

Morgan the Unicorn.

Gracie the Pink Poodle

Jaxen the Penguin (He did not like his costume. He screamed to get it off and absolutely refused to wear the hood. I was very lucky to get this picture.)

Alas, no ward Halloween party for us. Our stake president vetoed any Halloween parties at the church. The girls, though, worn their costumes to the school's Harvest Festival. Annalise was a baby and Robyn was Sleeping Beauty.

They look so cute! The girls missed the Halloween Party back home. We went Trunk or Treating at our new ward, but it just wasn't the same. Mackenzie was just talking about the unicorn costume! Glad to see Morgan loved it too!
