Kate Gosselin was in Grand Rapids recording the audio cd for her book. So, she also had 4 book signings. Three in GR and one in Lansing. I decided to go to Barnes and Noble and get a copy signed. Here are some pictures of her. She talked to Jaxen (who happened to be with me), said Hi, and we moved on. They were pretty efficient at getting us in and out and we only had to wait 30 minutes in line. On Wed., the newspaper said the wait was much longer, but they were letting people talk with her and she was personalizing each copy. It was interesting to see her in person. She was friendly to everyone and even extended the hours of the signing to get as many books signed as possible. One worker said that in 4 days of signing books, she signed over 1700 copies each night. I don't know if this is accurate, but she should be impressed with how well her book is doing.

Morgan's PreSchool Christmas Concert
I forgot the Camera (as usual), but Nikki Shipley, who has a daughter in the same class and happily helps get Morgan back and forth, came through for me. If you want to see Morgan perform, just click on her name to the right of my blog under friends and family blogs. The Elissa and Morgan are so cute, they just make you smile.

Rachel and her Coat
Rachel loves her coat. When I say love, I mean it is like her comfort blanket. She wears it around the house and outside, over her clothes and her pajamas, and when she isn't wearing it she is carrying it around. Here are some pictures of her with her coat. Putting it down has to be her idea.

Merry Christmas Everyone!
Last Saturday, we decorated our house for Christmas. This year we actually put decorations on the tree and no fence around it. The kids did the job, so all of the ornaments are in one specific area. Also, since then they have been taken off and put back on about a hundred times, but they aren't breakable and the kids are having fun. So, I say enjoy.

Sleep Tight and Don't let the Bed Bugs Bite.
Morgan and Gracie now share a room. They both need the lamp one to go to sleep because they don't like the dark. Before we go to bed, Ryan or I go in and turn it off. Here are some pictures taken when we went to turn off their light.
Gracie loves it that Morgan is in bed with her. She often cuddles right up and they share the same side of the bed.
Here are pictures of them in bed with all of their toys in bed with them as well. Above are the totes that usually hold all the toys. Ryan tried to clear some of it away, but he didn't want to wake them, so he left them where they were. I made them clean it up in the Morning, so they could make their bed.

Cute is what I am and you love it!
Our little Rachel is just such a good baby. I couldn't have asked for a better little girl than our biggest surprise. She loves her Mommy and Daddy and is just content to be near them. Here are some fun pictures of her this last week.
Rachel was wearing Morgan's coat around the house and found that if you pulled on her hood she was good for buffing the wood floor. She loved it when mommy pulled her around. At the end you can see a funny video of her as the floor buffer.
Rachel loves to sit in our rocking chair and look out at everyone or watch TV. Here she is when Brittney was babysitting, just as content as could be for 5-10 minutes.
Rachel has never in all of her 15 months taken a pacifier. Now all of a sudden she has taken to walking around the house with her walker and her pacifier in her mouth. It's cute, but I hope she doesn't get too attached, because the minute she starts begging for it, in the garbage it goes.

Home Sick
Last Sunday Joshua and Gracie were home sick with colds. Jaxen stayed to keep them company and Ryan supervised. Here are some pictures of what they were doing while the rest of us were at church.
They chased Dafunny under our bed, because sometimes she just gets tired of all the love she gets at our house.
Joshua became stuck in the same bed that Morgan was trapped in last year. However, I didn't feel bad for him because he was told not to climb through the side or he would get stuck. He didn't listen and here he is.
