Potty Training week #1 is over. The kids are doing pretty well. They are all going #1 in the potty, but still are struggling with #2. Hopefully this next week will be the week they catch on and we won't worry about too many accidents. We started sticker charts for motivation and Gracie loves to put hers on the poster when she's done, as well as singing: "Gracie went potty. Gracie went potty." Gotta love it.

Fourth of July
We had a great 4th of July weekend. On Friday we went to the Muskegon River and played, had a BBQ and played by a camp fire. Later, we went and saw the fireworks above the Lake Macatawa. Saturday, we went swimming and had another BBQ with family and friends. Then later, we did some of our own fireworks. Here are some pictures (I will add more, but my computer or the internet stopped letting me download tonight).

Jaxen and Joshua sitting by the fire.

Potty Training Week #1

We came home from a fun and busy weekend, to start POTTY TRAINING. That's right the triplets are now old enough to move beyond diapers and start going in the POTTY. While I'm not excited to begin this journey, I will be very happy when they get the hang of it and we can say goodbye to diapers (Well, most of our diapers since Rachel probably has another year in them). Here are our pottys. Yes, we have five because even though I'm not focusing on Rachel, she does have to have one to sit on just like the big kids. Today is day #2 and hopefully by day #7, they will offically be potty trained. Stay tuned.

Stow, Ohio
We then went to Andrew and Stefanie's for the weekend. We had a great time with the boys, playing at the park and just hanging out. The kids weren't too happy leaving daddy at Uncle Andy's when we said goodbye on Sunday. He went back to Pittsburg for more work and baseball with his brothers and Dad, while we came home for an exciting week of . . . .

Kennywood Here We Are!

Jaxen, Rachel and Gracie on the spaceship ride.
Morgan and Jaxen waiting to start a ride.

Morgan on the motorcycle ride, with Gracie in the background.

All the kids on a ride. Joshua cried at the beginning of almost every ride, until is started and he decided he actually liked it. He was a little tired, from no nap and a late night.
Ryan had a business trip in Pittsburg this week, so we tagged along for the weekend. We met him in Pittsburg and with Grandma Mac's help took the kids to the amusement park Kennywood, where his corporate office was having a family fun day for the employees in Pittsburg. The kids had a great time and were worn out by the time we left. We pretty much stayed in Kiddieland, which made it nice. They rode all the kids rides atleast once and somtimes twice.

Ohio here we come!
Over Memorial Day weekend, we went to Ohio for Kaiden's Bapstism (Ryan's Nephew) and Evan's Birthday (Ryan's other Nephew). We had a great time with family. We went swimming, played outside, went to a baptism, had cake and ice cream, went to Kirtland (Historic site for the LDS Church), and got to go for a very long drive. Here are some pictures of the events.
Photo of all the grandkids they day we left.
Another photo of all the grandkids.
Photo of some of the kids that were with us when we went to see the Kirtland Temple. Gracie thought it was a princess' castle. It's white and big and pretty, I can see why she thought that.
Rachel with her "baby" walking around the flower gardens. They were all quite beautiful.

Preschool Graduation
Morgan had her Preschool Graduation on May 20th. She was happy to have Mommy and Daddy there to watch and visit her school. She has loved getting away 3 days a week and having time with other friends and learning. She has done so well. She knows most of her letters by sight, she can write her name (well almost she usually writes MOGAN and used to write Mocah), and she loves to read books. Morgan and Gracie cannot go to bed without reading a book.
Ryan and Morgan
Morgan, Ryan and Joshua. Joshua got to tag along, as I had to pick him up from toddler group right before her graduation started.
Morgan and Mrs. Susan.
Morgan had a great year, and has loved her preschool and teacher for the last two years. She will miss them. Next year we are off to bigger and better things. She will be going to a program at another school while Jaxen and Gracie (if they potty train in time) will go to three school at the same time. What will I do with myself with only two kids at home. I think I will make due.
