I am hoping spring is finally here

Today is supposed to be in the high 60's and just might make it to the 70's. Is this a sign that spring has begun? I sure hope so. After being stuck inside the last week with sick children, it was nice to send them out to play. Some still have runny noses, but they are happy and energetic again, which makes me happy. Joshua is the last to get better and he still is somewhat of a grump today, so he stayed inside with mommy and cried. How fun was that? However, I understand what it's like to not feel well, and it has to be worse when you can't quite tell anyone just how bad your feeling. Poor Josh.

We Are Ready For Spring!

Well, Ryan asked me the other day if I was giving up on the blog, because I haven't been posting as often as I have in the past. The answer is "NO." I just don't get the opportunity to get on the computer as much as I have in the past. Once I log in, Morgan is bugging me to play her games and I usually give in. Therefore, I have to get on when they are asleep, and sometimes I just don't feel like it then. I want to go to bed myself or veg and watch TV, or read etc. So, I will still post picture when I get the chance. Also, during the Winter I don't get much opportunity to take pictures when we are stuck inside all the time. There are only so many times I can take pictures of dressup, playing in the house and/or fighting with each other.

That said, last week was a trying week because the kids all caught some kind of cold that came with a high fever. Jaxen and Morgan had it first then 3 days later Gracie joined them and 3 days after that Joshua and Rachel joined the group. Jaxen's even turned into an ear infection, however, it was on a weekday, so we could go to their pediatrician instead of the ER. We spent most of our time in front of Dora or Diego, cuddling with our blankets and drinking apple juice. All wanted to be held, so we spent a great deal of time fighting and sitting in time out as well. Poor kids. Piece of Advice: Don't wash blankets until the kids are done being sick. Theirs had buggars all over them, so I through them in the washer and all the kids cried non stop until I pulled them out of the dryer. Fun Fun Fun.

Jaxen, Mogan and Gracie seem much better, but Joshua and Rachel continue to be grumpy, tired and stuffed up. Thank goodness I will be far far away in Florida this weekend and Daddy can deal with the grumps. Hopefully, I will have some fun pictures to post when I get back.

More pictures from a Weekend with Family

The weekend of Jacob and Makayla's Baptism and Spencer's blessing, the kids had fun with all their cousins. Lately, I have been terrible at getting out the camera, so the only pictures I have of are when Ryan got it out to take pics on the last day. Annie captured the whole weekend and hopefully will share her pictures for all to view. Anyway, here are some captured moments from that Sunday:

Fun Weekend

We had a fun weekend this last week. Jacob and Makayla (cousins) were baptized and Spencer (cousin) was blessed. So, we had a lot of people here to visit. The triplets, Rachel and Morgan loved having extra people here to play with and entertain them.

Jaxen, Gracie and Rachel eating at Lori's house. We did not feel like getting the booster chairs out, so they got to eat on the floor. They were not happy about it. Uncle Rob said they weren't dogs, but they didn't eat much anyway so it didn't really matter.

Here are a few of the kids at the baptism/blessing. If you can believe it there were about 6-7 more grandkids running around in the gym.

Joshua goes to the ER.

Our third straight friday in the hospital was because of Joshua. He came upstairs from playing and was having a hard time breathing. He kept pointing to his mouth and saying toy hurts. When asked if he swallowed a toy, he said "Yes." So, I called Ryan and asked what he wanted to to. He listened to Joshua's breathing over the phone and decided to take him in. They didn't find a toy, but they said is throat and airway were irritated and gave him steroids. He did fine after that. Jaxen refused to stay home with Mommy, so he tagged along.

Deana's Playhouse

Here are some pictures of our favorite hang out this winter. It's a place called Deana's Playhouse that is a big Gym full of toys and activities.

Starting to dress ourselves

The triplets are starting to dress themselves. The no longer want help and are always dressed in something different than what I put them in at bedtime or in the morning. Here are a few pictures of them when they decided to get dressed on their own.

Jaxen did all right except for the sweatshirt he put on backwards. Morgan also dressed herself and is now able to match her clothes. Joshua just wanted to pose for the camera. Finally, Gracie tried and did okay with the shirt, but as for her pants there seems to be a problem. She put a shirt on instead.

Here is our blackmail picture. Gracie and Jaxen were playing this is what they put on. What a handsome boy and cute girl. His daddy was so proud.
