A Day at the Park

Yesterday (Saturday) was the nicest day we have had in a while. While I was at work, the kids spent the morning and part of the afternoon at the park with their Dad. Here are some cute pictures of them.

Happy Easter

We had a fun Easter this year. Saturday, we went to Deana's Playhouse and participated in a Easter Egg Hunt, each getting a prize. Then the Easter Bunny came. No one but Morgan would sit on her lap, but they did follow her around sneaking hugs and kisses. We called them the Easter Bunny Stalkers.

Later that night, we decorated eggs. Each person got to color two eggs any color they wanted and add their own touches of stickers or crayon designs.

Rachel waiting to color one of her eggs. MMMM. Hope that shell tastes good.

The kids were up bright and early (they never sleep in) and were happy to find the easter bunny came. We kept it simple this year. Each person got a movie, one small toy, jelly beans and a toothbrush. They loved all of it.

All the kids in their easter best. Morgan and Gracie wanted skirts when we went to pick them out, so they were happy to show off.

Computer Problems

Sadly our computer is all but gone. It turns on, but just keeps rebooting itself. Ryan is going to take it in to see if anything can be done. I hope so, because I do have some files that I would like to retrieve. They can be recreated, but it would be nice if I didn't have to.

Anyway, I will still post pictures after tax season. We are going to borrow a computer from the tax business during the off season, or until I get the Laptop that I want. Whenever, that is. For now I will post whenever I can borrow Ryan's work computer.

We had a great Easter weekend, and pictures will be forth coming when I can hook the camera up to download all that we took. I did better this year with getting quite a few pictures.

Utah Here We Come

My brother was married last weekend in Utah, so I took Rachel and we went out to visit and attend the wedding. Ryan stayed behind and took care of the other four munchkins. We had a great time visiting friends and family and doing all the things we families do. We miss having everyone close by, but enjoy having somewhere to go on vacation.

Randy, Lisa, Darryl, Emily, Bryan, Lori, Larry and Sharon. All five of the kids together again for pictures.

Family pictures once again.

Kennedy, Rachel, MacKenzie, and Christy at their house. We just had to see where they moved. I'm jealous.

Florida Fun

Maybe I need a new camera to get me excited about taking pictures again. It just seems like when I am having fun, I forget to pull it out. I got to go to Florida for the weekend to visit my good friend Carmen. We had a blast shopping until we dropped, visiting, attending Time Out for Women, and visiting the temple (is was closed before we could do a session). Her husband even made some delicious cheese cake. Yum. We both had a great time. Now I think we need to have a girls vacation one a year? How about it Ryan, can you handle the kiddos again?

St. Patrick's Day

The kids dressed in green for St. Patrick's day.

On St. Patrick's Day, we dressed up in green and played with green playdough. Then for dinner, I made green Soda bread and Corned Beef (I didn't have cabbage, so we just did with out and used potatoes and carrots). It was a fun day for all.

I am hoping spring is finally here

Today is supposed to be in the high 60's and just might make it to the 70's. Is this a sign that spring has begun? I sure hope so. After being stuck inside the last week with sick children, it was nice to send them out to play. Some still have runny noses, but they are happy and energetic again, which makes me happy. Joshua is the last to get better and he still is somewhat of a grump today, so he stayed inside with mommy and cried. How fun was that? However, I understand what it's like to not feel well, and it has to be worse when you can't quite tell anyone just how bad your feeling. Poor Josh.
